You might be surprised to learn that miniature golf has been around for over 100 years. What makes it enduring is that it is a simple game which people can bond over while playing. It is easy to learn, easy to play—the perfect family-friendly recreational activity. You can play it competitively or just to enjoy the company of friends while you play. Either way, it is sure to provide you with an afternoon of fun.

Tropical Gardens Mini Golf is less than three miles from downtown Asheville. The 18 hole course is unique. You play through and around Flamingos, Elephants, Zebras, Volcanoes, Giraffes, and Waterfalls. Hours are usually 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Lakeview Putt and Play is 18 challenging holes of miniature golf on a lush 1-acre course right on the waterfront at Lake Julian. The Lakeview course a short 10 mile drive from the center of town, the grove Arcade, and is landscaped with native plants and trees that provide a stunning backdrop for the course that includes waterfalls, streams, jump shots, keyhole drops, etc. Hours are usually 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Fireside Golf is home to Chip and Bogey, the two Nigerian Dwarf goats, who have taken up residence in the middle of the 18 hole mini-golf course! The fun filled course landscaping is Western North Carolina inspired. Fireside Golf is about twenty miles from downtown Asheville. Hours are 8:00 AM daily until dark. MAGGIE VALLEY CARPET GOLF operates two 18-hole courses at its Maggie Valley location so there is usually little wait time before you are on the course and having fun!
