The Remodeling and redecorating of our historic Bed and Breakfast Inn is nearing completion. April availability is limited to weekends to avoid inconveniencing our guests as workmen complete their tasks in and around the property. With the exception of our kitchen, Applewood will welcome guests for the full month of May, and as of June 1st Applewood Manor will be fully operational welcoming our guests for the complete Applewood Manor experience including our extraordinary Applewood breakfasts.
Among the many renovations and upgrades to the Applewood Manor, Stephen Collins reported the following: “We’re putting in a chef’s dream kitchen to serve our guests including offering cooking classes. Our kitchen will be provisioned with top-of-the-line appliances from BlueStar and kitchen gear from Made in Cookware. And we have placed the legendary king-size DUXIANA beds and their exquisite linens in all our guest rooms for a sleep experience that is comparable to the very best luxury hotels anywhere in the world. Our 3T bike fleet of Exploro bikes will be ready for guests to rent and ride while they stay fueled and hydrated courtesy of our partner TORQ USA. We are adding new furniture, restoring some older pieces, placing gorgeous Persian rugs in the common areas and adding a lot of cool artwork everywhere. And, after a hundred years of use, we have restored our famous porches and other areas of our 1912 historic Inn to their former glory.”
