We
are located on an acre and a half in the historic
Montford district. It is a quiet setting with large pine, oak and maple trees (great for bird watching),
off-street parking, 3/4-mile sidewalk stroll through the historic neighborhood to downtown Asheville. AppleWood is a few years
from being 100 years old;
Captain John A. Perry completed the building in 1912. The home's style is New
England Style Colonial Revival with 6-foot original windows, shake shingles,
8-foot pocket doors, original brass gas sconces converted
to electricity, heart of pine wood floors, etc. Please google ApplewoodManor Inn Bed and Breakfast to visit our links.
